Need a little more time? Friends of Mubo's Place can request to arrive up to two hours early or leave up to two hours later, at no cost, whenever the calendar allows. Other guests can request extra time too, for an added charge, depending on availability. We confirm the evening before.

Need the apartment for most of your last day? When nobody is arriving after you, you can request a day room until 6pm, at half your nightly rate.

Before you arrive, you'll get your door code online: add ID for each adult guest, roughly when you'll arrive, and where to return your caution fee. It takes about three minutes.

Your private door code comes by email the day before you arrive. It works only for your stay, from 3pm on your arrival day until 11am on the day you leave, or later if we've agreed extra time.

Rather be met at the door? Tell us during check-in, and someone will be there to welcome you.

You can book up to 12 months ahead, or on the day itself until 1pm. The person booking must be 18 or over, and can book for someone else; whoever stays checks in with their own ID.

You pay in naira when you book, by card, bank transfer or USSD through Paystack, or by direct transfer to our account. Your dates are confirmed as soon as payment arrives, and you'll get a receipt by email, with the option to add a company name.

Your total includes a refundable caution fee of ₦30,000. After you leave, we check the apartment the same day and return the full amount within 24 hours, to any account you choose.

We only keep part of it if something is damaged beyond normal wear, something is missing, extra cleaning is needed after smoking indoors, or a party has been held. If that happens, we email you photos and an itemised list before deducting anything, and return the rest within 24 hours. If you see it differently, reply within 3 days and we'll hold the amount in question until we've agreed.

Friends of Mubo's Place get their rate automatically when they book on mubos.co: 6% off any stay, 10% off 7 nights or more, and 15% off 30 nights or more.

For December stays, the full-refund window is 14 days instead of 7, because those dates are hard to fill at short notice.

Need different dates? Change them for free up to 7 days before arrival (14 for December), as long as the new dates are free. You pay or get back any difference in price. Later changes follow the cancellation terms above.

Staying longer than planned? If you're a Friend and your stay reaches 7 or 30 nights, the bigger discount applies to the whole stay. If you leave early, nights you don't use aren't refunded, unless the problem was ours.

If you stay past check-out without arranging it, the day is charged as a day room.

Your caution fee is always returned in full if you cancel.

Booked through Airbnb or Booking.com? Their payment, cancellation and damage terms apply to your booking. Everything else on this page is the same.

This is your home for now. We share the compound with neighbours, so we ask a few things of everyone who stays.

• Please keep it calm between 10pm and 7am.
• We're not able to host parties or events here.
• Please don't smoke indoors. You're welcome to step outside.
• Friends and family are welcome to visit during the day. Let estate security know at the gate, and only the guests on your booking stay overnight.
• We can't take pets at the moment.

No chores before you leave. Just leave it as you would your own home, and close the door behind you; it locks itself.

We're close by throughout your stay. For anything from a question about the Wi-Fi to help with an errand, reach us here. We reply within 15 minutes between 7am and 10pm, and at any hour for anything urgent.
